A Theranostic Agent Construction:     Development of New Strategies for Peptide Conjugation.

We are developing novel magnetic theranostic agents based on ultra-small superparamagnetic nanoparticulate maghemite covered with covalently attached non-polymeric amphiphilic organic shell.  Organic shell termini are being conjugated with a peptide for cancerous cells’ recognition.
